La Rochelle give last week's blog a big winner!

A hit and miss weekend for us last weekend. Jason Day didn’t really fire a shot in the PGA Championship, missing the cut after a disappointing few rides. Man City were also workmanlike in their 1-0 defeat of Chelsea, which is hard to blame them after knowing the league was all but tied up after Arsenal were beaten by Nottingham Forest. However, La Rochelle mounted one of the great rugby final comebacks to defeat favourites Leinster in a packed out Aviva Stadium in Dublin. The win at 3.84 meant that we still managed to show a profit overall!

This week is a quieter week in terms of selections as football leagues are tying up for the year. However, we will make sure to have a comprehensive preview of the Champions League final, which is on the horizon.

Man City lift the Premier League, winning their fifth title in six years

Premier League Preview

Since the Premier League champions Manchester City have been crowned once again, I will be leaving the games at the top of the league. However, there are a couple of interesting encounters lower down, with both Leicester and Everton desperate to keep their seats at the table.

Although Leicester will have the added incentive to get the three points against West Ham and they may rest a few of their players ahead of the Europa League final, I think they are too big a price for the win here @ 3.58. They won both home and away legs in their Europa League semi final and can add into that a 1-0 win against Manchester United to their recent successes. They are on a roll at the moment and can defeat a woeful Leicester side.

The tip: West Ham to beat Leicester @ 3.58

Premiership Rugby Final Preview

I will be in attendance at Twickenham this Saturday to watch Sale Sharks vs. Saracens face off in the premiership rugby final this Saturday. It has been a sport in which we have had great success this year, both following Sale directly and also in handicap lines bets.

England's Tom Curry can play a huge role on Saturday for Sale

This year proves to be another cracking final on a scorching London day. Although Saracens have been there and done it before, winning 4 times between 2014 and 2019, they were beaten finalists last year. I think bookmakers are underestimating the strength of Sale this weekend, who have been a potent force all year long and posed a massive threat to Saracens when playing them in defeat at their own ground as well as when winning in the home leg in the league.

As a result, I will be supporting them once more here in what proves to be a close battle with two teams at the top of their game.

The tip: Sale Sharks +3.5 vs. Saracens

Crypto Rundown

While equities performed well yesterday, with the NDQ up 2.3% and SPX up around 1%, crypto has been quiet and not moving in line with this more positive narrative. Whilst the short term direction is unclear, it seems sensible to keep your cash in your pocket and wait for the opportunity to arise, which hopefully can be signalled here too.

ETH has remained relatively stagnant in recent times

Wherever you're betting this weekend, good luck. Let's back some winners.
